Tearing Down Walls

November 9th will mark the 22nd anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. On November 9, 1989, an announcement on an East German television station informed the citizenry that they were free to travel. The next day, the bulldozers began to destroy the remaining wall. At Lansing Christian School we encourage our students not to build walls between themselves and their peers. The media is full of news about students hassling each other through various avenues. As we begin to move into the winter months and students are often "stuck inside"
and spend time using a variety of social media options, please lift up our students in prayer to help them resist the urge to build up walls with words. Please encourage your children to follow Paul's urging to "keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Eph. 4:3). Your prayers and encouragement helps to make LCS the great school it is today!

This has been a blessed week! Lansing Christian School students and teachers are involved in worderful activities. In addition to the information you receive from our weekly ELetter, found at www.lansingchristianschool.org, did you know that LCS is on Facebook and Twitter @LCSPilgrims? Link your smart phone to both to stay updated on current LCS information.
